I’m a freelance writer living in Pawleys Island, SC.
Here I am with my husband in one of our favorite local spots. Hint: you can enjoy a fried flounder dinner for just $10. Sure, you have to get there by 6:00 PM for this deal, but aren’t you hungry by then? No? Try the Janet Combs diet wherein you remain the exact same weight by eating meager portions of greek yogurt for breakfast and salad for lunch, then feasting on fresh seafood, a loaded baked potato, and a salad with warm bacon dressing for dinner.
These are my parents, Sue and Tom. I would like to thank them for teaching me everything I ever needed to know about love and family and integrity and kindness and humor. My father passed away in July of 2017, and I continue to blink back tears at unexpected times.
I don’t anticipate this idiosyncrasy going away anytime soon.
On April 1, 2017, with the marriage of my oldest son, our family expanded to include a kind, beautiful, and loving daughter-in-law! Did I mention talented? Intelligent?
But WAIT, there’s MORE!
I am blessed at this point in my life to have acquired two new branches on my family tree–with the bonus of 100% adorable grandchildren!
We hope to have a lot of visitors here in our Pawleys Island paradise!
